Tangy Turmeric & Moringa Vinaigrette
Most of us think about salads when we hear the word "vinaigrette." But these delicious dressings aren't just great for salads, they can also be used on pasta dishes or as a dipping sauce for pita and garlic breads- either cold or warm!
The added Turmeric and Moringa powders not only embolden the flavour of the vinaigrette but also add an abundance of antioxidants. Moringa is also packed with vitamins and minerals for the maintenance of good health.
Orgen Moringa Powder is derived from the dried and ground leaves of the Moringa Tree. It contains many vital vitamins & minerals, including calcium, potassium, iron, vitamins A, C, E, and more. Moringa powder has a very similar taste to matcha but slightly bitter. In this vinaigrette recipe, the turmeric powder and garlic do well to mask the bitterness.
Orgen Turmeric powder comes from the dried and ground rhizomes of the curcumin plant. It is one of the key ingredients in curry powder and has a very strong, distinct scent and flavour. Some would describe the taste as similar to mustard powder and pepper. In this recipe, the flavour of the turmeric powder plays well with the chili pepper and ginger.
This vinaigrette can be served warm or cold when enjoyed as a dipping sauce for breads. Bread is generally recommended to be served warm, especially if it is seasoned or flavoured.
